Eric Jensen, Co-Chair Mr. Jensen is an Principal of NewSpring Capital having joined the firm in 2005.  Prior to joining NewSpring Capital, Mr. Jensen was a Senior Analyst at AIG Global Investment Group where he helped manage a $6 billion private equity portfolio.  At AIG Global Investment Group, he was responsible for evaluating, selecting and monitoring investment opportunities in the venture capital and leveraged buyout sectors.  Mr. Jensen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. ejensen@newspringcapital.com
Justin Reger, Co-Chair
Justin Reger, Justin Reger is a Principal at LLR Partners, a middle market private equity firm investing in growth companies with proven business models. With more than $2 billion under management, LLR provides capital for growth, recapitalizations and buyouts. Justin manages LLR’s technology practice, investing in and advising software and tech-enabled services businesses. His current Investments include Maxwell Systems, Message Systems, Quintiq, Revitas and Tribridge. Prior to joining LLR, Justin was an investment banker with Citigroup focused on the technology sector. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in its audit and consulting practices advising emerging growth companies. Ben Weinberg Ben Weinberg is a Director with SGE. He focuses on enterprise software, marketplaces and technology-enabled services. He is particularly interested in the use of technology in slower-adopting industries.

Before joining SGE, Ben was a Principal at Element Partners, where he led investments in software, services and manufacturing companies. Patrick Healey Pat is a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Support Practice in Philadelphia. Prior to this role, Pat spent four years in Ernst & Young’s assurance practice serving both public and privately held audit clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceutical and bioscience, technology, business services and communications. Pat’s due diligence experience includes add-on acquisitions, full enterprise sales, carve-out transactions, public-to-private transactions, cross-border, accounting consultations and other projects for both equity investors and strategic acquirers. Patrick.Healey@ey.com
Kristy DelMuto, Board Member
Kristy DelMuto Kristy DelMuto is the Director of Marketing at LLR Partners. She leads LLR’s Philadelphia-area business development by connecting with local middle market companies and business leaders in need of growth capital. She also drives LLR’s marketing, public relations and social media strategies, as well as advises the firm’s portfolio companies on communications. Before joining LLR, Kristy managed PR and social media for NextGen Healthcare, a leader in electronic health record and practice management solutions.  She previously served as an Associate Vice President at Gregory FCA, the largest independent PR agency in Greater Philadelphia, managing accounts in technology, life sciences and private equity. Kevin Shmelzer Kevin Shmelzer is an associate in Morgan Lewis’s Business and Finance Practice and a member of the Business Transactions Group. Kevin advises public and private company clients as well as private equity funds, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions. Kevin has represented buyers and sellers in negotiated transactions involving privately held businesses and subsidiaries and divisions of public companies. His practice also includes the representation of corporate clients in a wide variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, equity financing, corporate governance, commercial agreements, and corporate law. Before law school, Kevin, a certified public accountant, worked as a senior associate in the Assurance Business Advisory Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.
